Are you a Conspiracy "Theorist?" Notice the term "Conspiracy Theorist." These two words together imply that a person who is labeled as such "theorizes" or "makes up" things that he himself labels as "conspiratorial." It almost sounds like the person is who is guilty of such is "paranoid" and "delusional," inventing straw men that he can fight against, like a modern day Don Quixote who spends his time combating windmills rather than dealing with reality.
But the truth of the matter is that there really are conspiracies out there. And they are more rampant as the years go by, and the world becomes more corrupt. Like the old X-Files show used to say, "The Truth IS out there!" The question is, are you willing to find it?
I won't delve into any specific conspiracies or "theories" of conspiratorial nature in this article. Instead, the question of this writing is not "do Conspiracies exist," but rather do YOU believe they do? What about you? Are you a Conspiracy Theorist?
A study from Reuters Health came out today (May 20, 3014) in which the question was asked: "How many people really are "Conspiracy Theorists?" The answer they found might surprise you!

The study by JAMA centers on what it calls five main medical conspiracies, and what people think about them. And the study finds that 49% (nearly half) of Americans believe at least one of these five "conspiracy theories" is true. For those who aren't good at math, 49% is almost one out of every two Americans. That means that one out of two people in the U. S. believe in some sort of Conspiratorial plan against them! Are they just paranoid? Or, could there really be a conspiracy against them?
What do you think? Are YOU a Conspiracy Theorist?
Have fun reading the article to see if you are one of those 49%. If so, tell someone about it!
